Churches are affected greatly by the caregiving needs of their congregations and communities. 

The following reports suggest the need for increased congregational effort to support and assist caregivers and those needing care.

While some of these reports are several years old, the increasing age of the population makes these reports more pertinent than when they were first produced.

SPECIAL REPORT: The Congregational Health Ministry Survey Report is based on a survey of almost 100,000 congregations.  Conducted by National Council of Churches USA, the survey indicates roles that religious congregations are - or are not - playing in the delivery of health-related services to American communities.
